How to control the hardness of industrial aluminum profiles?

1. Aluminum extrusion frame should not be too dense, and there should be a gap between the material and the material, especially for the small and thick materials without ventilation, when the pipe material is combined with the small material and the sheet material. , The tube material is placed below this is conducive to the aging cycle air supply.

2. Temperature setting and control: Generally, there is a certain error between the temperature and the apparent temperature. When setting the surface temperature, it should be set according to the actual temperature of the furnace, and pay close attention to temperature fluctuations.

3. Aging and heat preservation of aluminum profiles: Aging should be carried out in strict accordance with the process requirements, and the heat preservation time should be appropriate to prevent under-ageing or over-ageing from causing insufficient hardness.

4. Before the aluminum profile is loaded into the furnace, other special alloys of 4xxx should be loaded separately from the ordinary 4040 alloy for furnace aging. When aging is indeed required in the same furnace due to production reasons, the special alloy process should be used for aging.

How to deal with discarded aluminum profiles:

1. Squeeze and straighten:

Straightening is a very serious part of the bending of the profile. The straightener must pay attention to the strength used for straightening. If the force is too large, it is likely to cause deformation, closing, orange peel, etc. to the profile. If the force is too small, the profile will be adjusted. Not straight, causing bending.

2. Extrusion frame:

This link is also very important. After sawing the cut-to-length length, the aluminum profile must be framed. This fashion framer must pay attention to: whether the material is large or small, is it with a tube or a flat die.  Generally speaking, large materials and materials with tubes are not easy to cause bending when framed at both ends, but small materials and materials drawn from a flat die will easily cause bending when lifting both ends. At this time, you should move from both ends to the middle Move closer for lifting and framing. However, some profiles do not work even this way, such as shutters, windows, glands, etc., which must be placed on the aged profiles and then lifted into the frame.

3. Surface treatment on the shelf:

After the aging of the blank, the hardness has reached the standard, the profile is not so easy to bend, but you should still pay attention to it when lifting the material at both ends, try to avoid strong fluctuations up and down, which will also cause a certain amount of bending to the aged aluminum profile.
